The key to your heart

I've got it in my treasure box

It's something from the past

It's not too shiny, nor too fancy

It's rusty and a little old

But it is precious to me

Just like a piece of gold

You left it here so long ago

I thought you'd have forgotten

The earth is getting bored to spin

The stars are chilling drinking gin

Still standing still

Waiting for the pulse to come

That will move again your heart

The key to your heart (x2)

Times and times passing by

The key hidden from the eye

So many seasons in my closet

The key seems to be forgotten

But when your eyes will look up high

The key will become alive

The wheel of destiny will roll

To the doorstep of your soul

The key to your heart (x2)

I wonder how did it feel

Having to go through such ordeal

Locked outside your own home

Lost in the neighbourhood of fog

But when your eyes will look up high

The key will become alive

And in the hour of eleven

It will find the door to heaven

The key to your heart (x2)
